What Are The Side Effects Of Lisinopril 2.5 Mg?

I just started taking lisinopril 2.5 4 days ago on day two I started getting sharp pains in my left temple , I have been taking Aleve which helps for a time but have to take more in one day then is suggested , does this sound like a side affect or a condense ?

Lisinopril can cause headache in some patients. I would not recommend taking Aleve (naproxen) more than suggested. I would even avoid Aleve in my patients who are on lisinopril as it can decrease the blood pressure lowering effect of lisinopril.
If the headache is severe, I would change over to alternatives like telmisartan. Or if it is not severe, would try to reduce the pain with acetaminophen only. You can discuss the above information with your physician and decide upon the future course of treatment. Hope it helps you. Thank you very much.
