What Are The Side Effects Of Having High Prolactin Level?

well,i am a 20 year old girl and i am suffering from some gynecological problem i guess.. though i have lost weight of about 6 kgs my breasts are increased by 2 cups!! and its getting heavy day by day and looks very odd as i am too slim... is this due to my prolactin level being too high?

Prolactin can have an effect on breast tissue but to determine if the level is increased you would need to see your doctor for blood tests.

A test for prolactin can easily be done.

Breast size can also be affected by: (1)menstrual cycle, can increase and decrease during part of cycle
(2)pregnancy
(3)sexual activity
(4)birth control pills
(5)side effect of other medications

You should consider visiting your doctor for an assessment.
