What Are The Side Effects Of Diovan 80mg?
I was taking Diovan 80mg for about 4 weeks. During that time I was constantly tired, light-headed much of the time, and had periodic headaches. My doctor wants me to continue with this doseage and will possibly increase if the blood pressure doesn t drop sufficiently. How long will these side efeects continue?

Diovan 80 mg contains valsartan which belongs to the group of antihypertensive medications known as angiotensin ii receptor blockers or ARBs is used for the control of hypertension, heart failure and post heart attack.
Side effects of Diovan 80 mg are headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, tiredness, flu like symptoms, upper respiratory infection, diarrhea, cough, stuffy nose, sore throat, sneezing, sinusitis, nausea, stomach pain, swelling, blurred vision, back pain, joint pain, fainting, shortness of breath, weight loss, vomiting, heart rhythm problems, muscle weakness, slow heart rate, weakness, tiredness, low blood pressure, allergic reactions etc. Usually these side effects are mild and self limiting as well as go away when your body will adjust to the medication. But, if these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should consult your doctor promptly for medical help.
