What Are The Risks Of Long Term Usage Of Birth Control Pills?

Hi as a young girl, age of 21 I m struggling with severe menstruation pains, my whole body goes into a numb phase,severe pains and vomoting precedes,no medication is working been to a doc, advise was to go on a birth control pil. I m worried that I won t b able to conceive children in the future because of the lengthly period of time ill b using the pil(wich will be for a number of years) can u please tell me what are the risks?

hello user,dont worry...u can use birth control pills for your symptoms...sometimes when u stop pills,it takes time for your body to normal production of hormones...long term usage cause post pill amennorhea..but it settles after a couple of months...
