What Are The Remedies Of Bitter Taste In Mouth ?

I havehad a terrible bitter taste in my mouth all of the time for about a week and now I have eccessive saliva. I have no heartburn or burning mouth or throat. I have not started any new meds and am relativly healthy. I do have a tooth tht is bad under a bridge and it is being pulled next week. Could this be what is causing the taste? or something more serious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The bad tooth with infection may cause the bitter taste depending upon the type of infection.
The excessive salivation also may be caused by the irritation of the tooth. Both can be caused by the gastric irritation.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis .
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms injections of amikacin, omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
