Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears that he must be having irritable bowel syndrome, and as he is devoid of the perception,it is happening.
You educate him to go for the poo daily for 2 times, let him sit for poo daily, till he gets it.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms a mild laxative like milk of magnesia at night.
Give him more of green leafy vegetables, so that he can have poo daily.
Wishing him a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
