Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Its important to thoroughly evaluate the child for Urinary tract infection by getting Urine routine microscopic examination and also ultrasound examination.

If the results are normal there is no cause for concern,
1. Proper toilet training and consideration and patience by parents will help.
2. Make him practise double voiding before going to bed. : Let him void, after 5 minutes make him void again which promotes complete bladder emptying and will prevent bed wetting

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Pediatrician Dr. Venkata Subrahmanaym Mukkavilli's  Response
Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
Usually children achieve dryness by 3 years.
It may be one or two years late in some.
If he has already gained control over his bladder and started bed wetting recently it may be urinary tract infection.
DM also can be suspected in case of secondary enuresis .
If it is primary enuresis nothing to worry and you may wait for some more time.
Hope this reply is OK for you.
Further queries invited.
