What Are The Options For Draining Abscess On Belly Button?

I have a fairly small but irritating abscess on my bellybutton piercing from 5 months ago. I have tried warm compress and saline solutions even cleaning it with alcohol. nothing seems to be working but I can't get to a doctor anytime soon should I try to drain it myself? or are there any other options?

Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare Magic.
Management of an abscess involves incision and drainage, daily dressing and antibiotics to which a certain germ called Staphylococcus is sensitive to. But these drugs are not sold over-the-counter. In my opinion, I think you should get to the doctor for proper management.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
I wish you good health
