Suggest Remedies For Sebaceous Cyst On The Back Of The Forearm

Posted on Mon, 20 Nov 2017
Question: My wife age 50 has a round bump on the back of her forearm. It was diagnosed as cellulites several months ago. She took an antibiotic and it went away long after the medicine. It has returned about the size of a quarter she went back to the urgent care and the dr. told her it should be lanced and drained. She was afraid without me there. I don't know if its a boil, a cyst or cellulite? I know its like a pimple ready to burst yellow at top and red around the surface. Should we go back and get it lanced and drained. She is taking bacitracin prescribed by dr. ? I think she should get it cut and drained today but not sure?

I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..
Please note..
1. I strongly feel it is Sebaceous Cyst, which is getting infected time and again and causing these problems.

2. Being a surgeon myself,i strongly recommend the incision and drainage if it's infected.

3. Your doctor is right, let her undergo this procedure and will be cured permanently.

Hope this helps you,in case you need further assistance, please let me know.
