I would like information about TSH results and what is considered standard ranges. My TSH is 5.50 and my Dr. tells me I am borderline. I have taken levothyroxine 25mcg from my (retired) Dr. and then she gave me 50 mcg when my TSH was 4.12. Now I am wondering why my new Dr. says I am borderline??
Dear sir, greetings. Yes TSH normal range is between 0.5 to 5.5 yes as your doctor told your TSH is in border line. You please increase the dose to 50 MCG. Daily. Every 6 months get your thyroid hormone levels done. Thanks for contacting us and do write us more questions. Thank you.
