What Are The Medications For Flaky, Red And Swollen Eyelids?

Both of my eyelids are flakey, red and swollen. I woke up this morning and my left eye was so swollen I could hardly see. The little I could see out of my left eye was blurry. My eyelids itch and are sore. It has been going on since September but seems to be getting worse. Any suggestions?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having red and swollen eyelids.
These symptoms indicate inflammation of the eye lids called as blepharitis.
This requires treatment by antiinflammatory drugs and appropriate antibiotic drugs.
Since you are having recurrent attacks this requires evaluation by a ophthalmologist to find out the underlying cause.

Thank you
