What Are The Ill Effects Of Taking Methadone 180 10mg?

My son has been using Methadone 180 10mg for 6 months, and not on a prescribed basis. i got him in a program, they tested him after 7 days and it wwas still present. he says he did not take anympore.....wish you said up front that this would cost. I picked your site because i thought it was competent and trustworthy

If your son has been on the high dose methadone for a long time, he will still test positive for it in his urine for 3-4 weeks, even without additional use. Methadone is a narcotic. It does not have the euphoric effects of heroin and that is why people use it to detox people off heroin. Methadone like all narcotics can cause fatigue and slowed thinking. It may cause death if taken in overdose.
Please try to get him into a treatment facility to help him detox off of this drug.
