What Are The Effects Of Taking Overdose Of Acitrom?

My Dad underwent Mitral Valve Replacement in 2004. After that He Daily uses Acitrom as per Doctors Prescription. Today he Consumed 8 MG accidentally instead of regular dose of 4 mg. Age:52. Please let me if there is any immediate danger? He Consumed 4mg in the morning and 4 mg in the evening.

Could be bad. There is a delay on the effect of this from of about 1 to 3 days. Alert his coagulation team. Mostly, you just skip the next dose the next day then start back the day after and get coagulation tests daily for a week.
