What Are The Effects Of Primolut During Early Pregnancy?
my wife use primolut nor 5mg to delay the menstrual cycle, she did pregnancy test and the results was nigative aftar 8 days she stop use it and she discover that she is pregnant, she do pregnancy test at hospital and results was positive, i want to ask if there any effect on fetus like Fetal abnormalities

it is a norethisterone hormone which should not be taken in pregnancy
it can affect the fetus though chances are very very small
effects may be dose dependent
needs regular ultrasound evaluation of fetus
every tablet has side effects....
wait and watch is the only thing that can be done
minimal chances are always there for fetal anomalies
