What Are The Early Signs Of Pregnancy?

I am breastfeeding my 5 month old son. About 3 or 4 weeks ago I began having all of the pregnancy symptoms that I had when I first conceived... Sore breasts and nipples, low back pain, fatigue, frequent urination. Plus I have had symptoms that I did not have wiggly first... Food aversions, nausea but still very hungry, sensitivity to smell. However, I had a negative blood test two weeks ago and have had several negative home pregnancy tests. What could be going on with me? I also just have that pregnant feeling that I had with the first.

Hallow Mumma,

I have gone through your history and have understood your dilemma.

Are you exclusively breast feeding your baby? If so, then only breast feeding gives you birth control protection for six months, not otherwise. Therefore in mothers who are giving mixed feeding to their infants, pregnancies in lactational amenorrhoea are seen. In such cases, due to breast feeding, there is no menstrual bleeding, still the egg formation takes place leading to pregnancy.

Your symptoms do appear to be that of pregnancy. If urine pregnancy test is not conclusive, you can get the Beta hCG test done or ultrasonography performed. One of these tests will give you correct diagnosis.

I hope you will follow my suggestions.
