What Are The Early Signs And Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I m 16 years old and my menstrual cycle is always 30-32 days, I m never late and I always chart them. But this month my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex around when I should obvulate(I don t know the exact day) and he got some sperm on my vagina when he was pulling out. This month I was 3 days late and had absolutely no pms symptoms when I normally get emotional, sore breasts, and bloating. When I started my period it was more of spotting, which I ve never had. And then there were clots and it stopped after two days, when I ve never had a period less than 5 days. Why has this happened, and could I be pregnant? I took a test a day before I should ve had my period and it was negative and I took one on the morning before my 2 day period started and it was also negative. I also haven t made any changes in diet, exercise, or stress so it wouldn t have been because of that. I was irritable the whole 3 weeks after ovulation before the short period. During the period I got very dizzy, weak, and tired. If I were pregnant, I would be 5 weeks today since the beginning of my last period. Thank you for your help.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Wait for another week (after your short period) and check for pregnancy using an early morning urine sample. If this returns negative again, then pregnancy is almost completely ruled out.

As you did have your period, suspecting pregnancy could be a little unwise but at the same time your period was short and you only spotted which could be an implantation bleed as well. Either visit a doctor or repeat the home pregnancy test as advised above ma'am.
