What Are The Earlier Signs And Symptoms Of Pregnancy?
HI I had unprotected sex on 11th november and had an unwanted 72 within half an hour. my last period started on 27th october and these usually last for 7 days. However, even after having an unwanted 72 i haven't started bleeding and its been 10 days. should i take a pregnancy test or is it safe and i am not pregnant?

Unwanted 72 is a very reliable emergency contraceptive pill. It is effective if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. You have taken it within half an hour of unprotected sex. So you should have fair degree of protection against pregnancy.
Unwanted 72 contains levonorgestrel due to which, the menses may get delayed. You should get the menses in due course. However, if you have any doubt, 10 days after missing a period is a sufficient time for performing pregnancy test on urine. Please collect overnight morning first urine sample for more reliable results as this contains higher concentration of hCG which is qualitatively estimated in these tests.
If you are not pregnant and still do not get menses, you may take Tab. Deviry for five days. 4-7 days later you would get the withdrawal bleeding.
