What Are The Difference Between Pills Althea And Sopia?

hello doctor.. ive been using althea pills for almost 1 yr,but due to financial crises I decided to take cheaper pills like sophia, my question is wht is the differenc between althea and sopia pills? is it ok to taje sophia pills after taking a althea?

Oral contraceptives can contain different ingredients.

Althea contains cyproterone and ethinyl estradiol. Cyproterone is a anti estrogen.

Sopia contains gestodene and ethinylestradiol. Gestodene is progesterone contraceptive.

Though they both contain ethinylestradiol, the other component varies but they can both be used for contraception.
