What Are The Chances Of Retrieved Egg To Make To It To The Blastocyst Stage?

hello I am going through IVF ICSI, three eggs were retrieved. All three fertilized and one egg was transferred on day 2. The other two eggs did not make it to Blastocyst stage, I have just found that out today. I am 35. What are my chances of the egg that was transferred making it to the Blastocyst stage?

Hi,

You are undergoing IVF, Your doctor must have tested the embryo transferred for its viability, before undertaking the process. Now, as it is an artificial process...the natural hormones needed for growth of embryo need to be calculated prescribed and more so over, needs to be consumed strictly as directed. Another thing is to try and avoid physical or psychological stress. If due care is taken, there are about 50% chances of its acceptance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
