How Long Does The Embryo Try To Become Blastocyst?
My cycles are longer (32-36 days) after failed IVF. My egg cells were dividing on course through day 3, then just stopped, and never made it to blastocyst. I feel that I m ovulating, and that my egg is getting fertilized, but never implants. Can this be the explanation for increased length of cycle? How long does the embryo try to become blastocyst before it gives up and uterine wall sheds?

Cycle length varies from woman to woman.
It may be as short as 20 days to as long as 35 days.
The long cycle length is not responsible for failure of blastocyst to implant.
Your history suggests that you are suffering from early abortion.
There are various causes for early abortion.
Failure to implant in the uterine cavity can be inherent defects in the zygote/blastocyst or an unprepared econometrium to hold the blastocyst.
Chromosomal abnormalities are responsible for defects in blastocyst.
Unprepared or poorly prepared endometrium is usually due to hormonal imbalance especially progesterones.
Thus, you need to consult your gynecologist for hormonal evaluation and to provide hormonal support if found to be deficient.
Chromosomal abnormalities cannot be corrected and abortion is the best fate for chromosomal aberrations.
Besides above mentioned factors, there are some other maternal factors which are responsible for repeated abortion.
Anti phospholipid lupus anticoagulant syndrome is one of syndromes associated with repeated abortions.
You need to discuss it with your gynecologist.
