What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Ipills?
Hello Doctor,
I am Vandana, age of 23.
I have my last period over in 25th of December and I intimate with my boyfriend on 26th of December.
We use protection while doing sex but unfortunately condom is removed in between the sex. We are not sure is he discharge inside me or not, so I take an IPill after 2-3 hr of having sex.
My expected date of period is 18th of January but today is 29th of January and still I don't get my periods.
I am scared now, and I am not able to tell this to anyone around regarding this.
We ask some random chemist shopkeeper and he ask us to take a pill that will start my period, should I take that pill or not?
If you can suggest any medicine that can help me, so I will be very thankful to you.

I understand your concern.
I pill acts by postponing ovulation, It's a high hormone containing pill,which tends to change the menstrual cycle.I feel you should get periods within a couple of days.Please don't take any medicine. wait patiently for period to come.
If you don't get, pregnancy test should be done to exclude pregnancy. ,Investigations/ physical examination should be carried out to find cause & treatment of menstrual problem.
