What Are The Chances Of Getting Impetigo Or Any Other Sickness After Recovered From Chicken Pox?

my child is getting over the chicken pox all his blisters are scabbed over and he has not had a fever for seven days we are wanting to go on the boat on a lake and may be swimming. what are the chances of him getting impetigo or any other sickness from this.

Hi,
Chicken pox makes the immune system of the body weak for a few days. Right now may not be the correct time to take your son out for a boat ride. He can develop other infections. You may wait for another 7 days and avoid making him swim in unclean water.
