What Are The Chances Of A Cyst Of 15cms X9cms Size Reducing With OC Pills?

Hello ..I have just been diagnosed with a Ovarian cyst of 15cms x9cms I have been prescribed Ovuloc LD. for the same. What are the chances of acyst of this large size reducing with OC pills .Or do i need a surgery If i get it operated now ..what r chances of recurrence.. MDU

I am so sorry to hear about this diagnosis of a cyst. The chances of this cyst reducing and eventually going away on oral contraceptive pills. This is just not a possibility. Surgery is the best way to go. The recurrence of cyst is unlikely unless it was caused by a hormonal problem. However, a hormonal problem cannot cause a cyst this large. Get operated for treatment and the chances of recurrence are less than 2% from my experience taking care and following up clients who have undergone a cyst removal.
