What Are Recurring Vomiting With Heaviness In Chest And Dry Heaves Suggestive Of?

my son is 29 has had at times pain in the chest that feels like acid re flux but now has started vomiting. he say his stomach does not hurt it just starts in the chest before vomiting. Afterward he gets relief but then gets it again and then dry heaves.

Sometimes severe acid reflux can cause this, we see this especially in young children. In an adult an endoscopy may be indicated since hiatal hernia at times can cause very similar symptoms.
