What Are Effects Of Stopping Olanzapine Cold Turkey?

Hi, my husband has been taking takes Olanzapine 15MG until a week ago, we ran out of pills and can t get a refill til July 27th, 2016 at the VA Clinic in Auburn, CA. What happens when he suddenly stops taking them. He s not feeling very well. thank you, Sharon

I can understand your concern.
Olanzapine is anti psychotic drug.
Sudden stoppage of this drug can cause withdrawal symptoms.
So his unwell feeling is mostly due to stoppage of Olanzapine.
Withdrawal symptoms include generalized unwell feeling, fever, laziness, headache, perspiration etc.
So better to consult psychiatrist and get done prescription of this drug and start this as soon as possible.
