Welts/rash, Red Skin Around, Anus, Vagina, Pain In Pelvis. Suspected HPV. Suggestion?

I have welts/rash and red skin around my anus and on the skin tissue between the vagina and anus. A month or so ago I was told I had a very mild case of HPV and that it would most likely go away. Along with this rash I have been having pain/discomfort low in my pelvis as well. I was unsure as to whether this was the beginning of a yeast infection or if it was something else. I typically only ever get a yeast infection if I am sexually active which its been over 2 months now since my last intercourse so I have my doubts its that. I'm just so uncertain and don't want to bother taking time off to go see my doctor if this is nothing or even if its part of the HPV

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The red rash that you have described is likely to be due to vulvovaginitis. This can be due to a viral infection like HPV with a superadded bacterial infection. A direct examination is needed for proper diagnosis.
