Weaning Off Kliovance. Have Hot Sweats At Night. Reason?
Hi my name is Lynette and I am 63 years of age 64 on 28.11.1949. I have been taking Kliovance for some 10 years, so thought I would start to slowly going off them. Firstly took one every second day, then a month later 2 days apart and so on, I went to the Doctor a month ago and said to go off completely. However, he is away for 6 weeks, and the past month I have been suffering disgusting hot sweats during the day plus at night, in fact it wakes me up and I can have as many as 3 to 4 throughout the night. Can you give me an answer

Hi,
It seems that you problem might be due to deletion of estrogen giving rise to hot flushes, due to withdrawal of Kilovance.
If problem is severe you can take this tablet again for short term till your doctor is available.
Take plenty of water and liquids.
If require attend Menopause clinic.
