Hi,
Welcome to HCM
It is good that you are aware about over weight,as your height is 5 feet and 1 inch, your weight is 74 is certainly high.
You need to reduce at least 10% of your weight ,remember there is no short cut to reduce weight and you have to take healthy required food and exercise regularly ,keep track of your calories and exercises.Take up walkng, jogging, swiming, cycling, dancing etc
You should have determination to loose weight certainly it is possible,
Please take advise from your doctor and start exercises and take care of diet.
Please also add yoga and meditation in routine.
Short term loss of weight without changes in lifestyle usually comes back .
It is more importatant to be healthy so start and continue it make it habit.
There are few medicines which may be taken in consultation of doctor.
Take care
Good luck to you

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Lipolysis is not very helpful...
Only surgery that is of proven help is to reduce the size of the stomach - bariatric surgery..
For weight reduction, there is no officially approved medicine without side effects.

Weight is like bank account. The amount in your account comes down when you withdraw more (physical work) and you deposit less (eat less). If the weight is picking up, it only means – the exercise is not enough or the food is more or both...

You have to reduce the QUANTITY of your food and change the QUALITY too. It is not possible to explain or understand the nuances on a single occasion. To start with, reduce the amount to one third of what you are presently taking. Avoid all fats – they have double the energy of carbohydrates. You should see a good DIETICIAN - One generally needs SEVERAL sessions, to master concepts of calories, nutritional values, biological value, vitamins, minerals and so on.

You need regular exercise too.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck

Hi,

Its is the best time to lose weight as this is your recent gain and its been more than a yr since delivery..You can easily lose 10 kgs in 3 mnths and so on just by doing simple modifiactions in your diet and having well planned diets based upon your nutritional needs and routine activity.I will just recommend you to lose weight through a natural process rather opting for short cuts.take care and stay healthy!!
