Vomiting, Diarrhea. Abnormal BP. Stomach Pain. Taken Zantac. Reason For BP Spike?

Hello, three weeks ago wasn't feeling well. I went to work but could not stand for so long and started vomiting and diarrhea. I left work and went to see the doctor. He examine me. My pulse was ok including my temperature but my BP was 181/101. I haven't gotten it checked since and will next week. Any reason why my BP might have spiked that high. I was also in a lot of pain in my stomach and back. I felt better in 4 days with 150mg of Zantac.

Hi,
You had gastro-intestinal infection and it is now cleared.
There is possibility that you might have raised blood pressure before but as it is asymptomatic you might felt.
And accidentally checking your blood pressure while going for GI infection.
Nothing to worry.
Go for regular checking of BP and keep record.
Consult your doctor and after investigations he will go for treatment accordingly.
Take less salt in diet.
Go for regular exercise daily.
Ok and take care.
