HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Low blood pressure should not cause abdominal pain. It can cause dizziness, palpitations , cold and clammy feeling, difficulty concentrating and shortness of breath.

If you BP is normally higher then the lower BP may be related to your viral illness.

For some persons this BP may be considered their normal reading.

I hope this helps

sometimes lowbp dries the mucosa of stomach leading to pain or there can be incidental hyperacidity
try to increasethe bp and add antacid gels to get temp relief till bp is maintained

Hi,

Generally, low BP would cause dizziness, especially when you get up or sit down quickly.

There might be many problems related to your stomach ache and vomiting:

- mal-digestion = you have eaten something that never ate before or that was bad and made you feel stomach ache and vomiting

- you overload your body with excessive food; your body now reacts and "tells" you to go moderately with the food.

I would suggest to start some physical activity to help you with obesity and, would make you become "less hungry":). It is good to drink plenty of water while you are eating or during the day to make you lose appetite or give the feeling of fullness.

- virosis - is also associated with low BP and maldigestion (stomach ache and vomiting). ORS would help you to rehydrate; however, if your vomiting is becoming more frequent, you should go and see your doctor immediately to get more specialized medical attention.

Hope it helped!

Hi ! It is unusual for a low BP to cause stomach pain, but the reverse can be true if the pain is severe enough. Did you eat anything new from outside your home ? This could be an attack of gastro enteritis the early phase of which may give rise to such symptoms of dizziness , nausea and even vomiting and at that time the blood pressure may become low as well. However, the blood pressure of 100/70 may be normal in some cases and it can not absolutely be told as too low a blood pressure. I would advise you to get your stool tested for ova/cyst. If you get lose motion , then the diagnosis of food poisoning may become more affirmative.
However if the pain abdomen of yours increases in its severity, you may have to get yourself clinically examined by your family physician to exclude any other intra abdominal pathology with an added investigation of ultrasound abdomen.
I wish you an early recovery.
