Dear husband ,

yes it can improve , it is not easy but it can . only 2% of the women popluation in the states suffer from vaginismus .
Treatment usually combines counseling, education, and muscle exercises.

Kegel exercises are very helpful . The exercises can help improve control over the vaginal muscles.

other option is vaginal dilation exercises use the patient's own fingers or plastic dilators. The dilators are gradually increased in size and placed in called vagina over time. Women may be asked to practice Kegel exercises while the dilators are in the vagina.

patients can try placing the dilators themselves but the program usually is done with a health care provider available.
the psychological part of it is very important to be addressed where fear of sex is a large part of this disorder, so educating women is an important part of treatment. Women are taught about sex organs and how they work. The sexual response cycle and common sex myths are also discussed.

other than contacting your gynecologist that might suggest all the above info , you can also get in contact with a sex therapist .

As the husband try not to be so stressed about it , your psychology would help her in getting over it , she probably needs your help and understanding the most right now .

best regards,
Ahmad
