Vaginal Pain, Abdominal Cramps After Protected Sex. Normal?

Had protected sex with my girlfriend on a Monday and on Wednesday fingers* and oral was involved. Wednesday is day 13 of her cycle. She told me afterwards that she had an orgasm and that her private area is a bit painful. Hours later that day she felt mild abdominal cramps, but after she slept and woke up the next day the pain was gone and there were no signs of bleeding . Is this normal? Thank you.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.
It is common to have mild swelling and pain after intercourse.
After orgasm, the uterine muscles contract, so mild cramps are also to be expected.
Also, around day 13, the vascularity is more, so pain is more common.
if the discomfort is gone now, do not worry about it.
All the best.
