Urine Test Done, On Antibiotics, Reports Show WBC Were Found High. Is It A Urinary Tract Infection?

I haD A URINE TEST DONE ORDERED BY MY SURGEION YESTERDAY FOR A CULTURE ( 24-48 HRS) AND A FAST URINALYSIS, THEY FAXED REPORT TO MY PCP, i SAW HIM TODAY, BUT VERY BUSY, HE PUT ME ON ANTIBIOTIC RIGHT AWAY, i AM TRYING TO FIND THE CORRECT RANGE AMOUNTS FOR URINE TESTS THEY HAVE THE RESULTS FOR ALREADY ON LINE. nO AVAIL. ONLY FOR BLOODWORK, HE TOLD ME WHITE BLOOD CELLS WERE FOUND, SUPPOSED TO BE 10 OR< MINE WERE 50-100. I THINK HE TOOK OUT THE METRIC MEASUREMENTS FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND. dOES THIS SOUND CORRECT? dEF A UNINARY TRACT INFECT, JUST DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE YET, OR STRAIN. HELP PLEASE

Your doc is right. Normally WBCs should be less than 10 in urine. so you have urinary tract infection. To know exact type of infection, you have to wait for culture report. you can either take some broad-spectrum antibiotics or can wait for culture report. Then according to infection, you can take antibiotics.
