Undergoing Menopause, Have Regular Discharge Bloody Mucus Through Vagina Between Cycles. Normal?
Hi. I am occasionally having bloody mucous coming from my vagina . Today I couldn t tell if it was from my vagina or rectum as I had just had a bowel movement . I am 54 and experiencing menopausal issues, so maybe that s part of it. Just don t know. This has been happening off and on (usually between periods) for over a year.

Hi.If so, you should get a TVS (internal scan) done and see the endometrial thickness. It may be abnormal vaginal bleeding and needs to be investigated. Get a pap smear and TVS done to see the cause. Consult your dr.If bleeding P/v at this age, then endometrial biopsy needs to be done.Thanks.
