Under Active Thyroid. Started Menopause. Gained Weight. Sounds Like?
I was told quite awhile ago that I have an under active thyroid . This was about the time I started menopause . I took 60g Thyroid Armour but didn t feel any different and still gained weight. I have an extended stomach and no matter how much I diet it doesn t go down. I started taking Iodine tablets about a month ago, but not sure they are helping either.

Please get your thyroid function tests done again and take the medicines correctly according to the requirement.
It looks as if you are taking insufficient dose of thyroid.
Also change your thyroid medication from thryroid Armour to eltroxin.
Don't take any medicine or iodine tablets haphazardly.
