Twisted Knee, It Popped With Extreme Pain. Tried Rice Treatment. Advice?

I twisted my knee and it poped or snaped with extreme pain. Ii can mot bend backwards without pain. There was no swellimg or pain whem i push anywhere aroumd the knee.i went tofamily doctor she said to do the RICE think in which i have this is day 3 can bend very little and still there is pain. What do you think i have done.

Hi,

I do not think you have injured your knee badly. It is better to get an x-ray of the knee joint done. We can rule out fracture by this.

Talk to your family doctor about this. Continue to take rest, apply ice to the affected areas.

Take over the counter analgesics like Paracetamol for pain.
