Trying To Conceive, Delayed Periods. Negative Pregnancy Tests. History Of Anemia. Pregnant?
hello yes i was wondering if i am pregnant i have been trying for 3 months and my period is 2 days late . my home pregnancy tests are coming up negative and my blood tests have come back clear but i am aneamic could i be pregnant or is the anemia preventing me from falling pregnant i am almost 40 years old and always usually have regular periods .
Hello madam, well from the history you have given, since your periods are just 2 days delayed, I would suggest you to waite for few days, because sometimes in very early weeks the urine pregnancy test may show faintly positive line or will not turn out be positive, this is because of low levels of beta HCG....i would also suggest you to consult your gynaecologist because you may require a pre conceptional counselling not only because you are anaemic but also because of your age factor...you may be adviced to start on iron medications, depending on your levels of haemoglobin, your route of iron administration depends....hope i was helpful to you. .. ĺ
