Triglycerides Reduced From 500 To 190 After Taking Stanlip, Reduced Weight, On Low Fat Diet. Should Medication Continued?

Hi my husband is taking stanlip from last 1 month, his tryglycerides now is 190, which was initially 500 when he started the medicine,
he switched to low fat diet, during this perod of 1-2 months
He was taking 1 tab of stanlip 145 in a day
During that time he lost about 5 kgs of weight as well, his weight is now 60 kgs and height is 5.7
Now should the dose of stanlip be reduced or should it be stopped, or it is to be taken life long please suggest
My husbands age is 33

It would help if the statin and low fat diet are continued for another couple of month, subsequent monitoring at regular intervals will help.
