Took Medicine For Pinworm But Problem Persist. Can The Whitish Worm Be Some Other Type Of Worm?

I was told to take a medicine for what my gp believed was pinworm, but it has not cleared up after the treatment.
In length that I've seen they vary from less than an inch all the way up to 3 or 4 inches and are a whitish colour.
Is it possible for them to be a form of pinworm at that size or are they another for of white worm.

General Surgeon 's  Response
HI. These are round worms. You need to repeat the dose. If still no response you can change over to another medicine as advised by your treating Doctor.
