Took Follow Up Injections After Treating Varicose Vein, Its Still Lightly Bruised.
I have been feeling extremely tired with a heavy feeling in my body for a couple of weeks and the last 3 days I have had an aching right leg which i used to experience as a child. I had a varicous vein treated over 12 months ago and I had the follow up injections in it just over 4 months ago yet it is still slightly bruised.
It can stay bruised for a long time varying from person to person, but it should not lead to heaviness and tiredness. Are you wearing compression stockings(Class II)? I would advise you to continue stockings for a few months and you can add Tab Daflon which increases capacitance of your veins. It is to be had 500mg twice daily and can be had upto three months without any side effects. Also, check whether you get any fever or not? if yes, it could be something else you might be coming down with. Take care. Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
