She is 10 kg now and was 2.04 kg at the time of birth .She has iron deficiancy. She started walking very late, she understands things now, speaks about 6 copmlete words and plays on her own.I think she is a bit slow than other kids of her age.The doctor told me that she is fine and just week. What is this saliva problem and what is the treatment. Hi,
some child has high salivery secreations which may agreevates by putting object in her mout by herself, so be careful while she is playing, dont allow her to take somthing her mouth.
Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Aashish Raghu's  Response
Two things are possible. Either there is excessive saliva production or that her mouth muscles are weaker than they should be. You Paediatrician should help you with this. It is commonly associated with developmental disorders. As of now please wipe away all the saliva as if it is allowed to precipitate there it would cause damage to the skin.

Hi,
This is dentition period when teething is there one gets more saliva coming out,so you do not worry,
Due to itching in the gums while teething a child any toy or article keeps in the hand and put in the mouth so some times infection is possible so give the toys etc which are clean and not dirty or infected.
If she is anemic give some iron tonic,
ok and bye.
