Tonsil Inflamed With Pus, Painful, Difficulty In Swallowing. No Improvement With Penicillin Shot. Cure?
Hello my right tonsil is inflammed with some pus. My gland is also swollen very painful.i had a shot of penicillin 3days ago. No improvement anf feels so painful scale 1-10 the pain is a 12 cant eat with difficulty swollowing. I smoke pot and recently was smoking cigarillos with weed in it. Also i gave oral sex to a woman thr other night. Not sure what signifigance it has but i think its important
Your problems are related to smoking and not the oral sex. Smoking damages the mucosa of the throat thus inviting the micro-organisms to feast on.
My suggestions to you is to stop smoking first, drink plenty of warm water, use povidone iodine throat gargles and continue with the antibiotics; you will definitely feel better.
is it tonsillitis or somewhat others.the pus is need to be examined for gram negative diplocooci(gonorrhoea) and also for c/s.you have to change the antibiotic. gurgle with warm water.take paracetamol 1 gm 8 hourly to relieve pain.
