Toddler accidentally put ear bud in his ear and screamed, blood not visible. Ty. membrane injury?

this morning my son 2 yr old took an ear bud stick, which doesnt have cotton in the end, just the plastic stick end, kept in his ear, i heard he scream , went and looked at his ear, nothing in, or no blood seen, he was fine after that,i am worried, whether did he injured his Ty.membrane, or EOM. pls allay my fear YYYY@YYYY

Hopefully he did not injure his ear inside.
However to be sure the ear has to be visualised with an otoscope by a pediatrician or ENT doctor.
Also be careful to avoid such accidents in future and keep loose sharp objects,medicines ,detergents etc away from his reach!!
