Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum,
The tightness in the neck and chest can be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux a condition caused due to reflux of acid into the throat from the stomach. Drink plenty of warm water, avoid coffee/tea/spicy/oily/chilled food for few days. If you are having acidity problems please do take medicines to relieve acidity after consulting your doctor.
Take care

Regards
Dr. Naveen Kumar
