Thyroid Problem, TSH, Putting On Weight. Please Advice?

doctor i thought am having thyroid bcoz i have tested the thyroid and in test my TSH level is found 6.10 . so kindly be advised me whether am suffering from thyroid bcoz my weight is continue sly putting . sometimes am getting nervous feeling something wrong dnt know what is happening with me . iam very upset abt my weight .

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

The TSH value mentioned above is high but not too high to consider you hypothyroid .The weight gain could be due to various other and diet related issues.

I would ask you not worry and plan a low carb and low fat diet.

Do go for a repeat test of TSH after two to three months and if the values appear high then placing you on medications would be a best choice.

Welcome to HCM,
From your report it seems that you are having thyroid.
But to confirm it is better to go for T3 and T4 blood level.
After all reports consult physician and confirm the diagnosis and start treatment.
