Thick White Discharge, Itching And Burning In Vagina. No Help From Canesten And Diflucan. Possible Bacterial Vaginosis?
Hi, I thought I was having a yeast infection last week due to thick white discharge and itching. I used Canesten and it seemed to help get rid of the thick white discharge but not the itching a burning. Went to the doctor two days ago and got a prescription for diflucan. No improvement yet as far as pain/ burning. The discharge is now thin and white. Could this be bacterial vaginosis?

In bacterial vaginosis there will less chance of itching and discharge will be with foul smell like fish.Your symptoms are like candidiasis but it will be relieved if you have the tab.difulcan.I advice you to visit your doctor once again for further advice.Thank you.
