Tears On Foreskin After Erection. Treated For Yeast Infection. Does He Need Circumcision?
Recently, my boyfriend and I have been noticing small tears in his foreskin right after sex or right after an erection. Usually it's only one, but last night he had years all the way around his foreskin. We are both wondering what the problem could be. I have recently been treated for a yeast infection? Could he have one too, or his his skin just too tight and he needs to be circumcised?
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. This is a common injury in young male due to erection or forceful intercourse. Frenum (at posterior side of penis connecting skin of glance to shaft of penis) usually a thread like band of skin which tears( rupture) . Within 2-3 days this will heal spontaneously ( till avoid sex ). Just for precaution he can use antibiotics 2-3 days after consulting the doctor. As you were treated for yeast infection he can use this anti fungal treatment. Good luck. Dr. HET
