Taking Metaprolol, Potassium. Severe Joint Pain After Taking Losartan Potassium, Started Joint Max. Symptoms Of Potassium Overload?

My husband started an additional b/p med Losartan potassium and is already on metaprolol and potassium now his joints ache, I also started him on joint max from gnc which is suppose to help, there is no potassium in the joint max though. Any suggestions, he already took Insta Flex which is similar to Joint max but it seems since he started the new b/p med his joints are getting worse. Is there any symptoms for potassium overload?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the joints after taking losartan potassium are likely to be due to myalgia which is its common side effect. It is not likely to be related to potassium overload.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
