Taking Hydrocodone And Acetaminophen. How Do I Know If Its Right?
I have been getting hydrocodone /acetaminophen 10-325 for a long time but it was a small yellow pill by Watson. Yesterday when I picked up my Rx you are the manufacturer and the pill is larger and white. I just want to confirm this is correct because for some reason my pharmacy is having some kind of a problem and I want to make sure I got the right pill.
Thank you
Hello, and thank you for posting on Healthcare Magic!
From your description it is not possible to say if you have received the right pills or not. The pain medication that you mention is available in generic form, which means there are many different manufacturers who legally produce and distribute the drug. For this reason, it may not always have the same appearance.
So the change in appearance could be important or not. In order to know for sure, you should ask the pharmacist who sold them to you. If you are not satisfied with the answer you get, this website may be helpful: http://www.drugs.com/pill_identification.html
I hope I have given you some useful information, and wish you the best of health.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kinney
