Taking Tamoxifen Daily To Decrease Breast Cancer Risks. Having Delayed Periods. Not Pregnant. See The Doctor?

Hello, I take Tamoxifin daily to decrease my breast cancer risks. I am almost finished year 3. Goal is 5 years. I am 43 years old, have never had an irregular period. I am 2 weeks late and no way of being pregnant. I assume it must be from tamoxifin. just had a GYN check up in March with no issues

Any suggestions - other than go see my doctor?

Hello
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. It might be premenopausal symptom as your age is 43 and you are going to menopause so the chances of having irregular periods is quite normal. Dont worry about this and wait for your periods if you still have problem then your doctor may prescribe you some estrogen pills for periods. Thank you.
